Hello, I'm Jamie Ward, a web developer form Lincolnshire, England. I design & develop websites for small businesses and organisations, focusing on lightweight, mobile-friendly, and easy to update sites. I use a combination of my imagination, my 9 years of experience, and best practices to create simple, yet powerful websites. I use a bespoke content management system that I have been working on to allow my clients update their own websites with ease.
Fact.af is a link shortening service for TheFactSite.com's network of sites. It allows for users to insert a long URL that may be hard to remember, and shorten it. (For example, this URL has been shortened to:
http://fact.af/25kh). On the admin side, it allows custom codes to be generated for long URLs, as well as a bulk shortening feature, saving the admin hours of work. The main use of this website will be to shorten links from TheFactsite.com to be used on their twitter account, and other social media platforms.
This website was built on top of the Slim 3 Framework, and uses GetSkeleton CSS Framework for the design.
